RedStart Design and our bird logo were inspired by a woodland songbird, the redstart. This small warbler with orange-red patches on its sides, wings and tail, is commonly found in Europe and in the Mid-Western United States.
As we were delighted to learn from multiple clients who sweetly let us know, one was recently spotted in Northern California.
The redstart's plumage and markings are striking and memorable, but not over-the-top or ostentatious. We love the way birds convey a delicate strength through the apparent effortlessness of flight.
